The Craze City field guide / 01
Mobile games with pet companions that follow you
For a pet that stays beside your character while you explore, search for companion pets rather than a standalone pet-care simulator. Check whether the animal follows you in the world, remains at home or appears only in a menu. Those differences matter more than the number of animals on the collection screen.

A companion changes the journey
A following pet adds a familiar presence to activities you were already doing. Walking to a shop or returning home can feel different when an animal comes along. This kind of feature may be deliberately simple: the pet does not need a hunger meter or a skill tree to make the world more enjoyable.
Watch the animal during ordinary movement. Does it keep up when you turn? What happens at doors, steps and vehicles? A shop preview shows the model but cannot demonstrate companionship. A useful gameplay clip includes a short journey with the pet visible before and after the player changes direction.
Choose between company and care
Pet-care games make feeding, washing or training the main activity. Companion systems can ask much less of you. If you want a game that is easy to leave for a few days, check whether the animal has needs that change while you are away. If caring for it is the attraction, look for actual interactions rather than assuming they exist.
A decorative companion is a reasonable choice when you want affection without another checklist. It may disappoint someone looking for a detailed relationship system. Neither version needs to be described as better. The useful decision is whether you want the pet to create tasks or simply join the ones you already enjoy.
Combat pets introduce another set of decisions
Some games give pets damage, healing or resource bonuses. That can make choosing an animal part of a strategy rather than a visual preference. Check whether a favourite-looking pet becomes less useful as difficulty increases, and whether improving it requires separate purchases or repeated collection attempts.
If you want to choose purely by personality or appearance, cosmetic pets avoid that particular trade-off. The animal you like can remain the animal you use. Read the description closely, because a pet advertised as rare may refer to appearance, statistical power or both. A rarity colour alone does not explain its role.
What a Craze City companion actually does
The current Craze City pet system includes cats and dogs that follow the player. They are cosmetic companions. We are not presenting them as fighters or promising feeding, breeding or training systems. That narrower description lets you decide whether the feature matches what you wanted from a pet game.
The homepage's pet artwork is promotional illustration. The game gallery contains actual development captures of the city, driving and character creation. Keeping those labels separate matters: an appealing animal illustration should not be used as evidence of a specific pet-care interface. For a closer look at the cat-versus-avatar distinction, read cat games on mobile.

Where Craze City fits
Craze City’s current pets include cosmetic cat and dog companions. They follow the player, and their appeal is company rather than combat power. The full mobile game is still prelaunch; the city image on this page is an actual development capture, while pet illustrations elsewhere on the site are labelled promotional art.

Do all games with pets include feeding and training?
No. Some pets are decorative companions, some have care routines and others provide combat bonuses. Look for explicit interactions instead of inferring them from an animal image.
Can Craze City pets help in combat?
The current pet system is cosmetic. This page does not promise combat assistance, stat bonuses or pet battles.
