Start with the kind of pet you want
If you picture a cat following you through town, look for companion behaviour in uninterrupted gameplay. A pet-care game might instead keep the animal in one room and focus on feeding or grooming. Give your character an ordinary day
Think beyond the character creator. Would you enjoy choosing an outfit, leaving an apartment and walking to a familiar place? A useful life-sim loop gives those choices somewhere to matter. Check whether furniture is placed freely or selected from fixed layouts, and whether outfits are available through play. A screenshot of a furnished room cannot answer either question.

Craze City is a mobile city life sim in development. Its current systems include cosmetic cat and dog companions, character appearance choices and housing with furniture ownership. Pets are companions; feeding, breeding and combat abilities are not promised here. The image above is an actual city arrival capture, not a pet-care demonstration.
